Grafting knife with a copper or brass spatula
This tool is a small knife with a 5 to 7 cm blade slightly rounded at its end. A spatula is placed at the end of the handle and this is used to lift the bark to insert the graft. This spatula is called a shieldgrafter because it is used for shield-grafting.
