Alpin

This knife is typical of Alpine regions as it is similar to knives such as the Piémontais, found in the Italian Alps in the late 19 th century. The Alpin also goes by the names Savoyard, Alpiniste and Montagnard. A strong, sturdy knife, the Alpin will delight all mountain lovers. Coutellerie Au Sabot produces several versions of this knife.

The blade is blocked by a system patented by Jean Brunel. This pump-based system blocks the knife blade in the open position. Its design deliberately leaves the system visible.
