Armor®
Better known under the name “London”, during the 19 th and early 20 th centuries, this was considered the ideal knife for mariners, ocean-going rather than Mediterranean. The knife undoubtedly originated in England. The blade’s shape in the form of a sheep’s foot made it the only one permitted on ships as it was considered less likely to cause serious injury in the event of a brawl.
Liner-lock
The porthole-shaped hole on the blade means it can be opened safely using just one hand. The blade is blocked in the open position by its liner-lock system with one of the plates acting as a spring. The knife is opened and closed by pressing on the plate. Safe to use, the knife does not open when in the closed position.
